Cool the Fire

Here's a fun little illustration I did based on a sheet I tore out from an editorial in this month's Vogue. Just a little something for your day!

Finally 21

So, this past Sunday I finally turned 21! Time really has gone by so fast, I can't believe that I am here already. Anyways, this November 6th, I had such an amazing day, and I have my Boyfriend: David to thank for making my 21st Birthday the most special it could be! Starting the day off with a mountain of beautifully wrapped gifts, each one so thoughtfully chosen. Then, we met up with my best friend Juni and his then soon to be boyfriend, Avidan at one of my favorite Sushi restaurants in New York. We had some delicious Viking roll which is a delightful compilation of salmon, tuna, yellowtail fish, eel and avocado with spicy mayo all in one roll. Then we went back to my place and used my brand new cotton candy machine which was one of the gifts David got me.  After a cotton candy coma, we rested for a while and then eventually at night we met with David's mom who took me to Ruth Chris for my birthday dinner, where we had medium rare steak galore. Finishing with a delightful creme Brulee! Again, I want to thank all who made this day so special! Whether by spending this day with me or those who took the time to call and say the kindest of words to me, and my Mom, Dad and sister who called minutes after the clock struck and turned into Nov.6th, Thank you!

Update: Our Halloween Costumes

Here's an update on my Halloween. Although a little late, its here nonetheless. So basically after countless of brainstorming on ideas for our Halloween costumes it seemed strange how naturally the idea of a 20's couple popped into our heads. Which eventually transformed, after we became inspired by Film Noir and decided to take on the roles of its two main characters and dress up as the stealthy Detective and Femme Fatale for Halloween. And Our friend Juni also joined our Halloween festivities as a Native Indian.
