In the Spirit of Halloween...

Here's an illustration I created in Drawing class after draping our model in a stripped twill cotton fabric and a cowl neck achieved by the use of crocodile leather. The final result is a ghost silhouette holding the shape of the garment. It kinda reminded me of Halloween... or maybe the American flag, whichever works.

Catskill, Upstate New York.

Literally, the most magical place in the world; at least in New York that is. Catskill, I'll never forget it. One of the best weekends so far. So relaxing. So calming and peaceful. And so, so, so inspirational!

Alphabet Shirt

Model: Jose Salgado
This is a reversible shirt I finished working on a few weeks ago. From its first glance it may seem simply like a draped shirt, but it was actually drafted to represent the "psi"character of the Greek alphabet when it is fully laid out on a flat surface. On the continuing page I posted the rest of the views of this shirt, as well as the Greek character itself. Be sure to check it out..

Crystallized

This is a conceptual representation of the metamorphosis of crystals incorporated with drapes, caking of gazaar layers, and use of digital prints to create the six different looks of my next collection. It is a transitional collection meant to be presented as a Fall/Winter '12 but can also be worn during the spring. The music is by Clint Mansel, Lux Aeterna.

What you see isn't always what you get.

This is a simple rendering of mine that I played around with. I used my markers in a way that it looks like watercolor, but it actually isn't.
